During your initial appointment a full medical history will be taken. You will undergo assessment of your foot health and will receive Podiatric treatment specific to your condition and needs. (Please remember to bring a note of all medication you take on a regular basis). All new patients, regardless of presenting complaint will be booked for a new patient appointment. Treatment includes nail cutting; thickened or problematic nails reduced and treated; hard skin and corns removed; feet filed and smoothed and an application of foot cream.
For all returning patients, a routine treatment will continue to keep your feet in good condition and includes nail cutting; thickened or problematic nails reduced and treated; hard skin and corns removed; feet filed and smoothed and an application of foot cream. Footwear and self-care advice will be provided as standard and any future foot care requirements discussed.
Ingrowing toenails can often be treated conservatively during a routine appointment however, severe, infected or recurring ingrowing toenails may require partial or whole removal of the nail plate. Treatment includes local anaesthetic, surgery, post-op dressings and follow up appointments.

Verrucae can be painful and unsightly. There are several treatments options available and we can discuss what is most suitable for each individual.

People with diabetes may be at risk of developing foot problems. It is beneficial to be screened, at least annually, to detect the presence of nerve damage, circulatory issues and/or foot deformity. Annual review allows for the identification and monitoring of any changes in an individual's foot risk-status.
